Arrived after a long journey, and we were very grateful to have our rather large suitcases taken to our room. Then to be offered tea and biscuits .....perfect! Our hosts were able to give advice on eating places, which proved to be excellent. On the following day, they came up with a route for touring and getting the most from our short time in Helensburgh, and this was much appreciated. This stay reminded me that we should really use B&B's more often......but only after checking out on Trip Advisor. After many trips, this has never failed us.

As you might expect, knowing that the owners have been welcoming guests for the last 40 years, everything about Balmillig House is perfectly organised for the ultimate experience. We really appreciated our warm welcome, comfortable accommodation, discount coupon for a nearby restaurant and top quality breakfast in a charming setting. The grounds are neatly maintained and the property is in impeccable condition.
