About Us...

Bastable's Furniture & Upholstery is a family run business that I created back in 2005 after many years learning my craft. My mission has been to provide a friendly yet professional service for North Wales and surrounding areas.

My experience goes back over 35 years from being my father's apprentice, working for major retails and a founding director at Bastable Jones Upholstery of Prestatyn before creating Bastable's Furniture & Upholstery.

Since that time, Bastable's Furniture & Upholstery has gained an enviable reputation, keeping me and my team of craftsmen at the top of our profession.

Also, my son Chris who joined the business after leaving school in 2012 has been learning the traditional skills and disciplines needed in the trade, but also brings with him a freshness and a bilingual service being fluent in Welsh.

However, if an accident threatens to spoil the appearance of your furniture all you have to do is call our dedicated claims and advice line and we will ensure that the problem is taken care of.

Below you will see a more detailed list of the things you are covered for, and what you are not covered for. Essentially this Care Plan provides cover for a comprehensive range of household accidents that result in damage or staining to your furniture.

Following the delivery of your furniture, you will receive a document detailing this and also how to make a claim. It's important to recognise that you are not covered for a lack of care to your furniture or abuse, and multiple stains and damages sustained over an extended period of time are similarly not covered.

In 2013 after moving to larger premises on Penrhyn Road Colwyn Bay, Bastable's Furniture & Upholstery not only offered a Re-Upholstery Service but also started stocking new furniture from Cintique, since then it has grown and we are now proud to stock a larger and more diverse range of furniture from Cintique, Wade and Ashwood. We are proud that we only stock British manufactured upholstered furniture from manufacturers with brilliant reputations for quality.
