About
Below The Surface is one of the oldest dive schools in Yorkshire, we started in 1991 to provide quality diving education; we made the decision to provide a more personnel feel to teaching by only taking small groups rather than the large impersonal groups that students can sometimes find themselves in.
We teach in schools, colleges and summer schools for foreign students from all over the world to give them a taste of diving, as well as running our own school where we have club nights, children only sessions, parent and child sessions, party days, corporate events and obviously our teaching of all PADI courses.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly school, most dive club nights end with a beer and a chat, with lots of happy customers, we love our job and our support staff all work full time and give up their time for the love of diving and the joy of teaching.
