Untrustworthy Village Garage
I recently bought a car from this so called 'trusted village garage' and certainly don't have confidence in them! After ringing ahead to check the car I was interested in was still available, I arrived to find it had shot up in price. The dealer would then not negotiate below the original advertised price (which wasn't the most competitive to begin with). In the end I bought the car, as I didn't have time to shop around, but after I drove it home I found out that the car wasn't taxed and hadn't been for over a month! The dealer sent me off on the test drive, and later when I bought the car, with an untaxed vehicle! While it may be the driver's responsibly to check these things, you would expect any decent dealer to sort this out. Very disappointed...
