Here at The Bees Knees Guest House, Cleanliness and how you present your property to prosepective guests is of paramount importance. Indeed the AA include cleanliness as a large part of their rating process. Carpets are a necessary part of the comfort we provide guests and obviously they are one of the most hard working parts of our product. Carpeting probably takes the biggest hammering and wear and tear than any other product in a premises like ours. When carpets are not regularly maintained they can really drag the look and feel of a property and can be very off putting to guests to see dirty or stained carpets anywhere in a property where they are staying. Hoteliers & b & b owners, how often have you avoided cleaning an area of carpet because you do not have the time to wait for capets to be dry enough for guests to walk on? Even though we are a small guest house, our carpets are no exception to the above and after only six months of trading we decided that it was time to call in carpet cleaning professionals to do the job for us. With many of the proprietory "Wet" Cleaning methods, you run the risk of having to close down for two days while your carpets are deep cleaned and left to dry. "Wet" Cleaning though adequate enough can cause long term damage to furnishings and flooring and we were mindful that we could risk neither.
