Recruitment Process

Following a very successful first interview with this Agency and their very thorough step by step advice via several telephone conversations, culminating in being their "preferred candidate", I researched thoroughly and attended interview with the prospective employer (MD) at which my CV was considered impressive. I then heard nothing for many weeks and still waiting. For an Agency whose web site is impressive you would expect a telephone call to assess how the interview went, follow up with the prospective employer on their decision and feedback, but despite several emails, which have all been ignored, nothing. This is rather unprofessional and very short sighted from a business perspective. I was representing this Agency and their decision on suitability of candidate. We are all adults and can take not being suitable for a role, however common courtesy and basic communication is lacking with this Agency, I may not have been successful this time, or not, as I still do not know, I could bring them revenue with another role at some point, however I will not under any circumstances work with an Agency with so little common courtesy. All reviews I have sourced recently all have the same thread of lack of communication and courtesy.
