Teresa and Team, We would just like to say a huge THANK-YOU to you all for making our wedding day so perfect. You made us and our guest's feel so relaxed and welcome. From the moment we drove through the gates to view the breathtaking venue through to our wedding day everyone has been brilliant, you are all such lovely down to earth people with a very personal touch. Even when I arrived the morning of our wedding with an ill bridesmaid you were there to help. Our wedding day was stress free and everything fell into place perfectly because of all of you. And after a terrible week of rain, even the sun shone for us. Our guests have all commented on the stunning the venue, and said how welcoming and friendly the staff were, followed by how outstanding food and wine was. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a fantastic day and night, its only a shame the day went so fast. You all made our day so special and we cant thank you enough for that. If we could do it all again we would not change a thing, your team work brilliant together, it really was a pleasure having our wedding at Boreham House. It is a day we will never forget. Total let down
I had my indian wedding here over a year ago and am still waiting for my deposit to be returned. Have called and e-mailed numerous times with no response from Teresa, which I have been promised numerous times by Claire, Linda, Natalie and Abbey. I'm having to go through the small claims court to get it back (I wasn't notified of any damage, so return should be simple). Also during preparations we were misinformed multiple times about where we could have the indian ceremony, within the house, which had a big impact on our preparations and how many people we could invite etc. We were treated very rudely, with Boreham staff not accepting any fault on their part. On the day, Linda who was overseeing the event refused to let my husband into any of the rooms for a short while, where he wanted to go through his speech, not very accommodating at all. He ended up doing it under the stairs! Even though the venue is really beautiful, there are other equally good venues available at a similar cost and the appalling service does not make up for this! I would not recommend this place to anyone. Also, the room I was given to get changed in was filthy and my wedding planner had to get it cleaned before I got there in the morning, however it was still quite dirty, with lots of dead flies on the window sills. I have pictures, but unfortunately I can't put them on here!
