Since incorporation in 1998 Bowman Stor has continually developed its products to become one of the largest OEM filter manufacturers in Europe. Our extensive range of oil & water condensate separators and replacement filter kits have been steadily improved and refined by our in-house Research and Development facility to ensure that we are market leaders in filtration.

Our superior SILEXA™ filtration media has complemented our extensive range of carbon grades, polypropylene and clay media as the most advanced silica based filtration product available. We have evolved our products, expertise and advanced filtration technology into particulate, vapour/air and water filtration solutions, helping our customers comply with legislation and meet their corporate and social responsibilities for a clearer and cleaner environment.

Continual development by our research and development team has enabled our products to evolve into some of the most advanced filtration material available. Bowman's filter products can be tailored to suit customers' requirements using either carbon, polypropylene and clay or our superior SILEXA™ silica based filtration media. A combination of products can be used in cases where discharged effluents and emissions require pre-treatment before passing through the main filtration material. We can also manufacture and develop bespoke filter housing receptacles to contain our bagged or bulk media for various particulate, vapour/air and water filtration solutions.

Bowman manufacture our own range of oil & water condensate filtration/separation receptacle/housings for air compressors, including filters in either Carbon or SILEXA™ media. We also manufacture non OEM filter service kits for a wide range of separators sold in the market place. Bowman offer bespoke filtration solutions, which are developed by our research and development department.

We have recently introduced the SILEXA™ Sorb range of products which include Blotters, Pads and Socks, these are Oil Selective spillage absorbent products.

BULK Carbons

We have secured a quality supply of hard wood carbon which has the environmental benefits of coming from an approved sustainable source. Our range of carbons are used by a wide variety of business sectors: waste management, water treatment, agricultural, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and engineering – all of which require different types of particulate, vapour/air, water filtration and purification levels.

Our storage/stock holding capacity at any time is between 90 – 120,000kgs which not only meets existing demand but gives us the flexibility to service additional volumes as required.

BOWMAN's - SILEXA Sorb.

SILEXA™ Sorb is our loose absorbent material which is ideal to be used on liquid spillages. It is available in two specifications Oil selective (hydrophobic, oleophilic) and Multi-purpose maintenance.

SILEXA™ Sorb is a multi-use product that can be used as a packaging material for despatch and shipping, and is an ideal lightweight media for packaging product samples and laboratory chemicals. It also has the additional benefit of being able to absorb and contain any leakage during carriage.
