BrightNewMe, by Dr Sarah Norman, is a specialist clinic based at High Street Medical, in the heart of Altrincham. We provide bespoke skincare advice, and offer a range of prescription skincare products, as well as providing facial aesthetic treatments such as botox injections, dermal fillers, and lip fillers.
Dr Norman treats a wide range of skin concerns, including issues such as pigmentation, sun damage, rosacea, and acne. She offers vein treatments, treating thread veins, and also treats skin lesions (such as skin tags, warts, milia). She endorses the Obagi range of skincare products, many of which are prescription-only. Such products are extremely effective, but do require the guidance of a suitably experienced medical practitioner. For thread veins (also known as spider veins) and skin lesions Dr Norman uses the process of thermocoagulation (Thermavein, or Veinwave), for fast, effective, and safe removal.
Dr Norman's approach to anti-wrinkle treatments is to ensure patients achieve a more natural look, and avoid any telltale signs of treatment. Only the very best products are used, such as the original Botox, and Juvederm, both from Allergan.
Dr Norman also treats a variety of medical conditions, including hyperhidrosis (excess sweating), migraine, and blepharospasm (excess blinking).

Fantastic treatment
For years I’d put up with redness across my nose and cheeks, which would flare up especially when I became hot or came out of the shower. My wife sees Dr Norman for anti-wrinkle treatment, and suggested I see her about my skin. She took a detailed history, and then devised a bespoke regime for me. As a man whose skin care typically consisted of post-shave balm and nothing else, it took a week or two to adapt to a more disciplined regime, but it quickly became a habit. To say the results have been impressive would be a huge understatement, and it’s reassuring to know that I can speak to Dr Norman if any issues or concerns arise.

I first went to see Sarah with concerns about sun damage, lines and acne scars on my face. I had suffered with cystic acne from my teens until my late 30's which left me with scars which had previously been described as 'severe' by Consultant Dermatologists. To add insult to injury, as I approached my mid 50's I started to notice lots of lines and patches of pigmentation on my face, especially where the acne scars were and slightly drooping jowls!! From the first introduction I found Sarah to be very professional, empathetic and informative. She listened carefully as I described my complaints about my skin, and also discussed with me in detail a previous problem I had experienced with an allergic reaction to an over the counter anti-aging product. I felt very reassured and safe in her hands, and also liked the fact that after the consultation, she advised me to read the leaflets, do further research and then take may time to decide if I wanted to go ahead.
