Having made the decision to look at a "Mid-life Career Change" it was an obvious one to me to become a LGV Driver having always wanted to drive since watching my own father when I was a Child. This decision didn't happen over night but due to my age (38) and commitments it was important to me that I got off to the fastest possible, correct start and found the best training company for me. "British HGV" stood out immediately to me. I contacted three local Training providers through their websites for Information. Only "British HGV" responded. In fact being local they hand delivered an information pack complete with Provisional Licence forms and a List of Local Doctors that could also help with obtaining a Professional Medical at a realistic price. I was able to get the ball rolling straight away. Being hands on, I applied for my licence and arranged my Theory Tests myself. Once I had passed my Theory I arranged to have two Assessment Drives local to me. Again "British HGV" stood out to me due to their New Fleet of vehicles and their professional approach, this became more apparent when the representative from the other training company's last words to me were "and if the vehicle breaks down, we'll sort you out with another test", this made it sound like this kind of thing may have been a regular occurrence. I have now completed both my LGV Category C & CE Practical Tests, with Training from British HGV and passed first time on both tests within three weeks of each other. I highly recommend this Company and its Staff and will definitely use them again for my CPC course requirements. Mr Williams Cannock, Staffordshire.
