BAD BAD service, when into Cambuslang branch with 2 slow punchers [or so I thought] on very new tyres. The young guy checked both tyres and after a painful search told me he could find no air leaks. He pumped both tyres up and told me to come back in a few days time so he could confirm air was actually escaping. [Good service *****].

So a week later I went back to the shop – this time it was a Sunday morning and a different, less enthusiastic assistant. His first reaction was to grumble and tell me it would take a few hours to sort, he also warned me that fixing 2 punctures would be £40.00. 3 hrs later he phone to tell me he had found the punches but they could not be fixed and replacement tyres would be £150.00. 4hrs later I get my car back - total bill £150.00. [Bad service] 3 days later I notice both tyres have gone down again [yep the same ones]. I go back to the store and get the helpful assistant – he checks for punchers but couldn't find any. He suggests that it must be the alloys causing the problem. He uses a special sealant around the tyre/rims on both wheels. He pumped both tyres up and told me to come back in a few days time so he could confirm air was STILL escaping. [Good service] but I'm out £150.00. 3 days later one tyre is going down and the other is grand. I go back to the store. They agree the rims are at fault and offer to pay £50.00 towards the cost of getting the rims fixed… I'm out £100.00 BAD BAD service.
