Welcome

Burn View is a small, family run Bed and Breakfast in the Derwent Valley, Gateshead. We aim to make you feel welcome and relaxed during your stay. We overlook beautiful countryside and the Derwent Walk and C2C cycle ride is immediately outside our front door, making us the ideal location for both serious walkers/cyclists and those who simply enjoy a pleasant morning or evening stroll. Despite our rural outlook, we are just 2 minutes walk from the centre of Rowlands Gill which offers a wide range of facilities and amenities.

Derwent Room

The Derwent Room is to the rear of the house and overlooks the dovecote. It is a light airy room which catches the evening sunlight. Burn View was known locally as the half hoose up until the 1970s because of its thin appearance caused by its double frontage but single-room depth. The proportions of the house are now more balanced by the careful addition of a large kitchen, additional bedrooms (including the Derwent Room) and conservatory.

Tariff and Booking Information

We have a double en-suite with a spa bath prices range between £36 and £38 per person per night based on two sharing. Single occupancy of this room is priced between £37 and £42 per night (depending on season). Please ask about availability and rates for babies/children.
