Directory Publishing

Burnham Media Services for a number of Years have produced Directories and Yearbooks in association with a number of Organisations.

Having printed several Diocese Directories and Yearbooks over the years, we are able to understand their individual requirements and complexities. We can offer free advice and help in their production; this has been of benefit to a number of organisations and individuals who have different levels of expertise in producing this annual publication.

Advertising Income

Many directories are part or fully funded by way of advertising. This helps to offset some of the production costs as well as enabling improvements to be made in layout and presentation. We offer the optional facility to undertake the selling of all advertising space on behalf of the Dioceses following guide lines agreed in advance concerning price, style and content. We communicate with all advertisers regarding copy, under taking design and typesetting if required, to ensure the directory is able to meet its advertising revenue target. The Diocese retains all advertising revenue less an agreed commission.

Spiral/Coil Binding for larger Directories /Yearbooks

Due to the increased size of some directories and yearbooks we are now offering a spiral/coil binding option, this ensures that no pages/cover can become loose from the document and ensures that the back cover remains flat in larger Directories/Yearbooks. The Plastic PVC coils/spirals are easily spin through punched paper and are then cut and crimped to prevent the spirals from spinning back out. Plastic spiral/coil is extremely strong and durable yet soft to touch. Spiral/Coil binding is ideal for such publications and allows documents to lie flat on a table when read. They are available in multiple colours and sizes.

Quantities Typically range from a few Hundred through to a thousands.

However if this is not your requirement we can undertake standard perfect binding with or without the pages being sewn into the book, 2 hole drilled or 4 hole drilled for insertion in ring binders. and of course wire-o-binding.
