This car dealer is now operating under the name BUY A CAR WALES but it is the same bloke, be warned

Untrustworthy
Part exchanged a car over a year ago. The dealer agreed to pay off the exsisting finance. however a few months later we received a letter from the finance company saying payment had been missed. Husband contacted finance company who informed us that the settlement had not been made. The dealer protested that it had been paid and that there must of been a mistake at the finance companies end, this went on for a few month with us going from one to another to find out what was happening. Then after approx 4 months the dealer said that it had not been paid as he had cash flow problems, by this time our car that we part exchanged had been sold. we said that he should not of sold the car with exsisting finance on it and he told us that when we origanly bought the car from him it had been financed using a loan and not hire purchase (we was not made aware of this at the time and was under the impression it was HP) The dealer promissed to keep up the payments until the sale of a property went through. To date the loan is still outstanding and the dealer has been late making the payments therefore placing black marks on our credit record.
