A recent initiative by the Cumbria union of golf clubs in conjunction with the Cumbria Ladies golf Association was the creation of a mobile phone app. This was designed to market all 30 golf clubs in Cumbria and encourage golfers to the area. Buzy Bee Software services was chosen to generate the app and working closely with the golf union and association have done an excellent job in creating the product. The app is both technically and aesthetically excellent, benefitting from the company’s expertise in software and graphic design. The product is now available in both Android and Apple formats and is currently being taken up on a country wide circulation. The App is already being used around the world, having the capability of generating a recognised golf handicap certificate as well as marketing Cumbrian Golf. I would encourage any person or organisation contemplating any similar venture to consider Buzy Bee software. Being a small but very capable company they are very good to work with and we as a county have been very satisfied with the product.
