About

Welcome

We work with your organisation to help you manage your health, safety and welfare risk and, in doing so, improve performance at every level of your business.

Caer Health Services operate from their Head Office in Caerphilly, South Wales. From these modern, fully equipped facilities we are able to service companies in the surrounding areas such as, Cardiff and Newport. In addition we have a Regional Office in Mold, North Wales and have access to remote clinic locations in Swansea and Bristol.

About Us

Caerphilly Occupational Health (COHS) provides a range of corporate health services that resolve and prevent fundamental health issues. Regardless of size and nature of your organisation, our experienced team of physicians and advisors work in partnership to implement an occupational health programme that suits you.

Occupational Health

Occupational health is a health care speciality dedicated to identifying and preventing ill health in the work place.

Our team of occupational health professionals helps employers assess individual employees or organisational health and legislative requirements.

The services we provide include pre-employment screening, fitness for work assessments, exit medicals, drug and alcohol testing, sickness absence management, physiotherapy, ergonomic consultancy, health surveillance to name but a few.

Health and Safety

Good safety practices make sound business sense. As well as protecting workers, they help companies maintain and even enhance their reputations, retain staff, boost productivity and avoid the costs associated with workplace accidents.

From helping companies design and implement effective safety management systems, through carrying out audits on the effectiveness of clients' existing safety policies and procedures, our service provision in this area is designed to minimise the risk to employees of suffering an accident at work and to client companies of facing costly legal action.

Employee Welfare

While companies used not to concern themselves with the pastoral care of employees, today's progressive employers recognise that having employees absent from work long-term, or consistently under-performing in their roles as a result of emotional issues is in no one's best interests.

They are therefore taking it upon themselves to implement procedures primarily aimed at helping staff stay emotionally well but also to provide services that support staff when issues do arise to enable them to return to full health more quickly.
