We heard a lot of good about this place but it was very disappointing all in all. The food was too salty and most likely leftovers from the Sunday lunch (although charged at full price) as it was on a Sunday evening. Maybe it was because it was a sunday evening but truely you would expect the same standards no matter the day of the week. I would not recommend this place as the food was mediocre and expensive. I do not mind higher prices generally but I am expecting good food. There I just felt we would have eaten better at home. We won't go back there.

My friends and I have never had a bad experience here. The staff are happy, the service is great and the food is even better. Whether you choose to eat in the spacious bar area or in the formal restaurant the food will be the same great quality. The food is sourced locally and is amazingly fresh. The bar menu consists of around 10 dishes which change frequently and are usually a little more up-market than traditional pub food (although the prices are very reasonable and the quantity is also good). The restaurant offers a more varied menu in a more formal setting. The pub is set in a quaint, peaceful marina and is very popular... I'd recommend booking a table (both in the bar and restaurant), especially at weekends.
