Our family had been based in or around Stone for well over 200 years. But as a company we have supported Stone for over 60 Years, either through employment, charities, shopping, eating, drinking, living and promoting Stone through our web site.

Being situated in the heart of England Stone almost at the center of the Trent and Mersey Canal, which is the ideal starting point for a different type of Holiday. We offer Day Hire, Shortbreaks 3 and 4 night, Weekly or multi week holidays. Canal Boating in the slow lane, an adventure, seeing England from a different view point. For short taster trips 3 & 4 night for example travel north and visit Barlaston, Wedgwood and Trentham Gardens and the Monkey park. Alternativly travel south to great Haywood and Shougborough both trips longer enough to recharge the batteries. A week or more from Stone you have several choices of routes, for an energetic week you can do the Four Counties Ring visiting Shropshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire and the Midlands. Or an easier week the Cauldon which offers lift bridges, tunnels, a river, steam engines and the churnet valley. 10 days the Cheshire Ring Manchester and the Anderton Boat lift. 2 weeks the Llangollen, Wales and the famous Aquaduct, naming but a few, each offering slightly different aspects of boating.
