Cantina is the brainchild of multi-platform media brand Champion Up North, and is the final link in completing the five-year pop-up bar, event space and music hub, The Old Red Bus Station.
The eatery was created to provide a space for forward-thinking vegan dining, alongside the venues regular art exhibitions, music events and private functions.
Since its humble beginnings in the spring of 2016, Cantina has grown from a simple inner-city munching spot to one of Leeds most exciting up and coming indie eateries.
Their all-vegan Sunday Roast has become a regular sell-out event, and the creative mind behind Cantina's consistently evolving menu, head-chef Sam Thomas, was recently featured in Vegan Life Magazine for his innovative kitchen flair.
Cantina has also worked with charities such as Simon On The Streets to spread their message of plant based positivity, and give back to the wider community.
The city's first and original animal-produce-free restaurant has been well met by the norths ever growing tribe of herbivores, for their no-nonsense approach to dining. Nothing pretentious, nothing judgmental – just proper vegan grub.
