Originally developed to cope with the demands of a busy Manchester lettings office, serving a wide and varied client base, C.A.R.L. really made a difference in an environment dominated by paperwork, capricious legislation and anxious landlords and tenants.

We are currently working on the next generation of C.A.R.L. software, version four. v4 is scheduled for release later this year and will see the inclusion of dozens of new features, some introduced to keep ahead of changing legislation, some to take advantage of new technology and others as a result of our ongoing client consultation.

I agree... Do Not Use CARL Communications
They send you a disk but you can't install the program yourself. You have to pay them to install and set it all up. Program comes with very little on the instruction or help side. Errors start appearing within days of installation but unless you subscribe to their pay-monthly tech support they won't sort it out. Poor 'Customer Services'. They will not even answer the most basic of questions unless you are paying an extortionate monthly retainer for tech support.

Do Not Use CARL Communications
We did and had we not been practising accountants we could never have made sense of the data produced from the system. It constantly corrupts and breaks down. Customer Services cannot even be bothered to return a call! Avoid at all cost!
