The core customer base is a mix of wholesalers, retailers and the food service sector, but Central Supplies is also heavily involved in selling to the discount sector, for which it offers a large range of value-for-money products, and also to the convenience sector through nominated national wholesalers. Although the majority of customers are based across the UK and Ireland, the company does also have an export base, which it is looking to grow over the coming years.
A fleet of 17 refrigerated vehicles deliver to wholesalers, cash and carries, discount stores and the food service sector. 10 new lorries have been ordered to upgrade the fleet this month to meet increasing demand.
