Disaster Shippers

I wish I could rate them negative stars. If only. Background; I am the proud owner of a 2009 CVO Springer. It is, credit to Harley Davidson, an awesome bike! I recently relocated to Singapore. As part of the move I successfully imported the Springer (seems that this particular model was not imported by the dealer). In the process of the move, I was convinced by the rhetoric of the salesman from Claridon that they would provide the care and attention Harley Davidson owner's have come to expect. The final touch that convinced me to use them was Harley Davidson's endorsement of their abilities. My experience was less than desirable. In addition to lengthy delays with the air shipment, I had to do most of the paperwork they promised to handle, and they damaged $2,400 worth of chrome. At this stage, Claridon UK has offered a pittance ($500) while denying any responsibility. All along the way they apologies, promised to make good, and in the end simply took the p*@@ out of me. I would like to make sure other motorcycle owners have the opportunity to here what happened to me.
