Grooming to the highest standards in a dog friendly environment with access to a safely fenced grass exercise/play area. Specialists in rehabilitating dogs which may have been traumatised by previous grooming experiences. Grooming tuition by Sue Baker, a championship show judge with 40 years experience
The welfare of the dog is always our first concern. Recommended by many local vets for our sympathetic care for dogs which have been traumatised by previous grooming experiences. Relaxed atmosphere ensures that grooming is as stress free as possible. Unlike the majority of groomers the dogs here are not routinely caged but allowed to wander around the salon and play or have a snooze in the big comfy beds provided. Obviously, if clients have concerns about their dog and request that it is kept apart from others then it will be penned but will still have a big soft bed to curl up in. Sue Baker is the tutor for the dog grooming courses so with 40 years in the trade and being a show judge at championship level as well as exhibiting her own dogs with great success she has a wealth of experience to pass on to students.

My dog has always been difficult to groom as he reacts with nervous aggression and snaps, growls and wriggles. Once he was muzzled Karen coped with him remarkably well, constantly gently reassuring him. She managed to clip him completely, removing all the burrs and matted fur round his ears and on his chest and round his feet - something I have always struggled with. Not only did he look beautiful when she had finished, but he was calm and happy too. He is booked in again to have a bath as well as grooming to start getiing him looking like a proper Springer Spaniel.

I was recommended to Classic Clips, Salisbury, by my Grandmother-in-Law who has used them unreservedly for years. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Karen is friendly, reliable, and willing to fit in with my busy schedule. She even telephoned me the day before (as requested) to give my adled memory a jolt.

Professional Dog grooming training taught to a very high standard by Sue baker. Over the 20 day course I learned how to groom a variety of popular dog breeds starting with poodles and moving on to other dog breeds. The training provided is all hands on set in a well established, professional, well equipped salon. Sue is an excellent tutor and and passes on her wealth of knowledge, with over 40 years experience, enabling students to set up on their own after the course. I would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone wishing to start their own dog grooming business. Sue is an inspiration and passionate in her work. I hope one day Sue will write a book so that her knowledge can be passed on to even more people.
