Constructed of modular panels assembled in sections that consists of thermally efficient polyurethane foam insulation, bonded to an outer layer of PVC coated galvanised steel and an inner layer of stainless steel. The advanced bonding method ensures a rigid panel, which has highly robust load bearing characteristics. Doors are constructed of the same materials and may be hinged or sliding track mounted. Windows are of multipane format with five glass panes, each divided by a sealed dry air space.
Heating -
Incaloy sheathed electric elements mounted in chamber ducting and controlled by solid state devices to eliminate electrical interference
Mechanical Refrigeration systems utilising only internationally approved refrigerants are located adjacent to chamber or may be remotely sited
Externally mounted high performance electric motors are connected to internal air movement impellers with stainless steel shafts creating optimum air movement across the chamber
An advanced microprocessor controller with dual channel control and digital indication of setpoint and actual temperature and humidity level is used to maintain extreme accuracy and stability of control
Protection against product damage is maintained by two individual over temperature trips, one pre-set and non adjustable and an additional panel mounted digital controller, which may be operator adjusted. Emergency stop switches are mounted inside and outside the chamber and interlocked with audible and visible alarms. Internal release mechanisms are fitted to the access doors in the event an operator is trapped inside the chamber.
Contruction
Exterior: Textured enamel finish on treated mild steel
Interior: Seam Welded, anti-corrosive stainless steel

High performance electric motors, mounted externally to the insulated test compartments, are connected to the internal fan blades with extended length stainless steel motor shafts. The high pressure fan creates the optimum volume of airflow for reliable and consistent testing
An advanced microprocessor controller provides digital indication of set point and actual temperature. A platinum resistance sensor ensures the highest accuracy and stability of temperature control
A pre-adjusted thermostat is set to activate the protection circuit at 5C above the maximum operating range of the unit
