We generally offer this service on a "support" basis only, as opposed to completing the forms themselves.

We tend to edit the draft application, providing constructive comment on how the application can be improved and strengthened. This always includes a review of the employer's website, job advertisement, job description and person specification, together with proofchecking.

Interview Skills Training - in Person or via Telephone, Skype or Video

This service includes a detailed review of the job vacancy or internship together with the employer's website and person specification.

Clients are given guidance on how to prepare for the interview before it takes place.

Interviews are fairly formal and comprehensive feedback is given either during the interview (with questions being repeated) or at the end of the interview. Feedback is both verbal and written.

We pick up on poor diction, lack of articulation, bad habits, lack of focus, failure to interpret the questions correctly, tendency to stray off topic, etc. Eye contact, handshake and posture are also covered, as well as inadequate knowledge about the role and failure to prepare appropriate questions. Advice is then given on how to improve interview performance.
