About Us

Chris started Complete Health Osteopathy upon finishing his qualifications. Based in three separate locations around two in central London and one in St Albans.

In 2014 Chris decided to move back to Blandford and bring his Complete Health brand back to his home county. Chris works primarily as an osteopath but also offers a number of other services complimenting his osteopathy including kinesio and traditional taping, western acupuncture and sports and exercise nutrition.

Complete Health Osteopathy has always been run with the intention of providing a reliable and effective service that puts the patients needs first. We strive to do our best to get the patient an appointment at a time that suits them and get you pain free and back to complete health as quickly as possible.

Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a simple, regulated and effective form of diagnosis and treatment of musculo-skeletal pain, injury or degeneration.

More simply osteopathy is a safe and holistic approach to the correction of muscle, ligament, joint and spinal aches and pains.

Osteopathy involves the methodic movement and stretching of muscles and joints to increase blood flow and range of motion whilst decreasing inflammation.

Osteopathy uses a range of techniques including soft tissue massage, mobilisation and manipulation of joints, and personalised rehabilitation exercises.

Using a holistic approach osteopaths assess a patients mechanism of injury, past history, hobbies, posture, muscle strengths and weaknesses and overall lifestyle to give them a wider picture of how to successfully reduce a patients level of pain.

Osteopathy can treat a whole range of patients from the young to the elderly and the sporty to the relatively sedentary.

Osteopaths are seen to be specialists in back pain but that is not all we can treat. See below for a list of common conditions osteopaths deal with day to day.
