opening an ISA

PROS:I rang the building society and was told that I had to make an appointment but I did not know when I was free so I decided not to make an appointment. I then was in town a week later and thought I would go in and see if there was any space. I took some forms of ID and went in. I spoke to the woman on the front desk and she said to me that she didn't have any appoints that I could have on that day. I thought I would have to go but then she said to me that she could sort all this out and that if I waited till she got cover on the front desk I could do it there and then. She got cover took me in to a room and we discussed my options. She explained everything clearly (as this was my first ISA) and I signed the paper work and was out in 20 minutes. I found the customer service great. The queue normally goes quite fast.CONS:The only thing that is a negative aspect of this building society is that there is a lot of paper work to fill in and the computers that the staff member that talked to me used did not always play ball.
