Formed over 35 years ago, Curtaincraft are specialists in all areas of bespoke contract curtaining and blind manufacture for domestic and commercial environments, using the highest quality materials and expert craftsmanship. We are located centrally in Sussex, ideal for our London and South East customers, where our team of skilled curtain and blind makers complete projects from inception to installation. Contract Curtains

Contract Curtains is the commercially-operating division of Curtaincraft Ltd serving a wide range of client bases. We have over 20 years' experience within the industry. Our in-house team of skilled curtain and blind makers and installers follow the work from inception to completion. We specialise in all areas of contract curtain & blind making using fire retardant materials. Our installers are police-checked to give you reassurance of security and complete peace of mind. Our products/services include: hospital curtains; hotel curtains; blinds & shutters; anti-blast curtains; stage curtains; soft furnishings for hospitals and schools; installation and maintenance of stage tracks; installation and maintenance of all types of contract & domestic tracks; many other applications.

Our shutters

Less fussy than curtains and more substantial than blinds, shutters deliver style – a statement with a practical punch. We offer a full design and installation service. Shutters are made from solid wood, all of which are durable and lightweight. The correct timber needs to be chosen for different locations. A moisture-heavy environment like a bathroom requires a timber such as cedar which has a resistance to warping and shrinkage. We can help you choose the correct unit to create an eye-catching look.

Conservatory sails

Sail Blinds are the exciting new way to shade your conservatory. They control heat and glare fitting in with any shape of roof or construction. They were developed specifically for UK conservatories to tackle some of the issues associated with traditional pleated blinds. The specially-designed sail uses a high performance fabric to control the heat without having to cover all of the roof, allowing you to enjoy all of the benefits of the view and sun without the excessive heat. The breathable fabric and robust flexible construction means you don't have to look at dead flies (like those trapped in pleated blinds) because you can simply shake them off. When you want to remove any dust or dirt, the blinds can be washed in your machine at 30 degrees. Our poles

The right accessories make a big difference. We have a small selection of our favourite poles displayed on this page. These are good quality at a reasonable price. We also prefer to recommend poles that we know are reliable with strong brackets and fixings whilst still achieving a 'wow' factor to compliment your gorgeous curtains.

Our tracks

The right curtain track, correctly fitted, will make a big difference to the hang of your curtains and the whole look of your room. We have a wide selection in our showroom. We recommend white metal tracks which we can cut and bend to meet your exact requirements. They can be corded or uncorded.

Panel glide system

With their sleek minimalist lines, sliding panel systems fit a certain contemporary brief and not everyone knows about them. They consist of a truly unique system which includes two or more sliding panels for use as a window or wall dressing and, since the systems look as attractive from the back as from the front, they can be used also as visual room dividers. Flexible carriers allow for smooth and silent operation and panels are easy and economical to remove and replace. Whether your intention is a pure design statement or an attractive and efficient shading measure, there is an option suitable for you. A wide range of fabrics, colours, patterns and fabrics are available; from sheers to opaque for either domestic or commercial situations – anything is possible.

We can create your own unique cushions from our extensive range of designer fabrics.
