We provide a Happy Holiday Home for your dog with a loving Home Boarding Family whenever you can't be there. We can also provide a range of Pet Services for your dog, including a pet taxi service, home visits for puppies and elderly dogs, and daily house visits for small pets. We will give your pet the best possible experience. We offer dog owners reassurance and peace of mind by being fully insured and licensed.
Become A Home Dog Boarder
Digs for Dogs Home from Home Dog Boarding Service is a growing business and we are looking to expand our family of home based dog carers. We are looking for reliable, honest, trustworthy dog lovers who are mostly at home during the day to join our growing family. If you have experience of looking after dogs by providing a loving home for dogs whose owners are away then you will enjoy being a Digs for Dogs home boarder. You may be someone who already has a dog or maybe you have had dogs in the past but feel you do not want a full time responsibility of owning a dog at the moment.
Can You Care For Dogs In Your Home Whilst Their Owners Are Away?
After receiving your enquiry we will arrange to meet with you, to learn more about your experience with dogs and to assess what types of dogs you would be happy to board. We will only offer you dogs that suit your lifestyle and home and you can accept only those bookings that you wish to. Being a Digs for Dogs home boarder means that you can have the benefit of having the company of a dog or dogs without the full time financial responsibility of owning them. You will be expected to feed, walk and care for the dog as indicated by the owner on the pet schedule. We only undertake to board house-trained, non-aggressive, well behaved dogs. Dog food and all other essentials are provided by the owners. Licensing and insurance is arranged by Digs for Dogs- Happy Holiday Homes for Dogs. Pet Taxi Service
Digs for Dogs have a specially designed, pet-friendly, air conditioned vehicle for the safe transportation of dogs. We can help with trips to the Vet, moving house or anywhere your pet needs transporting to.
Individual loving care and attention for your dog when you are away.
Before any stay with Digs for Dogs, we will visit you and your dog at home to prepare a pet schedule, detailing all your dogs likes and dislikes, routines, feeding and exercise requirements, temperament and quirks, medical needs etc. This ensures that we can find a host family who perfectly match your dog's requirements, so that they settle into their new digs with minimal disruption.
If you wish, we will keep you updated on your dog by email, text, phone calls and photos. Prior to any stay of 5 days or more, we will arrange a 2 day "sleepover", to give you peace of mind that your dog is happy and settled in their holiday home.
Transport to and from the holiday home is provided in our Digs for Dogs, air conditioned vans as experience has shown us that dogs settle more easily if they are not waiting for their parent to return.
We offer a loyalty scheme - for every 10 days stay, you will receive a free day for the next holiday

Professiona, friendly, well-organised and reassuring!
I approached Digs for Dogs for help as my ageing Labrador – 14 and a half, was a worry to local kennels, who felt they couldn’t keep a proper eye on him. I was nervous about waving him off to complete strangers but am now reassured that he is well looked after and taken care of. He is happy to go away on his trips, and healthy when he returns. A 5 paws service!
We needed someone to look after Daisy the Dalmatian and Duke the Cavapoo whilst on holiday, and we didn't want to use kennels. We found out about Digs for Dogs and on further reading about them, we decided to give them a try. Our local franchisee was Seana, who was very pleasant and we realised within a short period of time that her main focus was making sure that Daisy and Duke would be looked after in the same way as we do. Seana asked about Daisy and Dukes habits, what kind of food they have and any home form home comforts they enjoyed etc... Once the profiles were carried out, Seana found a very nice family with whom Daisy and Duke had a one night stay over. This is a brilliant way of making sure that the hosts and our pets were compatible and got on with each other. Whilst on holiday, Seana sent pictures of Daisy and Duke whilst on their walks. Benji stayed with Lynn from Digs for Dogs for 2 nights over our wedding weekend - prior to that, Seana visited and completed a detailed assessment of Benji's likes, dislikes, routines etc. This helped to match him to Lynn who cared for him so well, and Seana kept us updated throughout. No hesitation in recommending Digs for Dogs!
I would have no hesitation in recommending Digs for Dogs. First time Dexter has used this service and I could go away and not worry about him. I know he was being very well looked after. He took an instant liking to Seana which is very unusual! This put me at ease instantly. We were kept updated throughout the weekend with pictures and messages. Excellent service!

A hassle free experience!
My dog has had his first experience of staying with a host family for 3 days. He obviously enjoyed himself and had lots f walks as he did nothing but sleep nearly all day on coming home. It was a hassle free experience for both of us, made easy by pick up and drop off on transport. I would certainly use Digs for Dogs again as an alternative to kennels. Reassurance from the start!
I wasn’t happy with the thought of putting my 5 month old English Setter pup into kennels and so searched for an alternative. I certainly found it with Digs for Dogs. I was fully reassured from the start. I knew his needs would be fully met and most importantly training, feeding etc. would be consistent, ensuring a happy dog came back home. Thank you Seana. Our puppy was in good hands
- Immediate follow-up to my email query - Prompt dog-check in my own home - Clear, kind, informative advice - Reliable, prompt service We didn't own our puppy long before we needed to use Digs for Digs. Both my husband and I had simultaneous away-from-home work commitments. Seana was fantastic because she put us at ease, and was thorough and clear in her approach.
