Empower Training Consultancy believes that good communication skills form the basis of every successful transaction and relationship, both personal and professional. Learning and being aware of these interpersonal skills empowers individuals to be more effective and this in turn increases the organisation's success. Training is tailored specifically for those working in Professional Services and designed to be imaginative, inspiring and interactive.

Empower Training Consultancy was established by Paul Tanner and a Doctor, aimed at providing training and consultancy services to the Primary Care health sector and other public bodies in 1998.

Clients include Strategic Health Authorities, Primary Care Trusts, Out of Hours Services, Managers Groups, Pharmacists, Dentists, Mental Health Teams, Social Services, Connexions, Borough Councils and Pharmaceutical companies.

Training covers a broad range of soft skills development, technical and mandatory training, mostly delivered in house and with the prime objective of improving the delivery of patient care.

Training aims to motivate and empower delegates to new levels of effectiveness. The facilitated training sessions are imaginative and dynamic and incorporate a high degree of delegate participation.

Empower Training Consultancy has supported Primary Care Trusts and other health specialists, in a range of initiatives, such as the Teenage Pregnancy Strategy, Patient Participation Groups, Conflict Resolution and Zero Tolerance in health care centres, delivering on the Qualities and Outcomes Framework, and in a consultancy role in advising and managing improvements in Primary Care centres as identified in their Patient Survey reports.
