Evolution
Liuyang is in south central China's Hunan province. It's known as ‘Fireworks City' due to pyrotechnics being the main local industry for, it's estimated, 1,300 years.
Evolved Pyrotecnics began there in 2002 with a product called ‘Bright Spark', an inferred firing system. It wasn't much of a success, but it proved invaluable in terms of learning and development.
Many more products would follow but the most notable milestone occurred in 2015 when company founder Forrest Zhang brought Evolved Pyrotechnics to the UK. Based in Edinburgh, the 16th year of Evolved Pyrotechnics will see a major expansion into the global market.
As in the beginning, learning and development remain the key values.
