Incorrect and incomplete info. The tyres you brought in to us were OVER 10 YEARS OLD!!!! and you had no invoice showing this unusual arrangement or purchase of them from us. They were NOT A SET but many DIFFERENT makes. Tyres this age have hardened rubber and DO NOT SOFTEN enough to brake well. This can NOT be seen with the eye. Problem is worse if tyre stored as it is movement that helps the tyre additives keep the tyre from hardening. We, just like any other reputable tyre fitting firm, don't fit or sell tyres this age as it is very dangerous and we are not in the business of putting lethal vehicles on the road. We bin any old stock rather than sell it. Other companies advise considering changing tyres at 5 /6 years and never fit over8/10 years. Check it online! Also if any accident were to happen it is more than likely that the insurance company would check date of manufacture written on tyres and refuse to cover. Whoever fitted those tyres has no scientific means to test the rubber for braking and whatever they looked like there is one certainty - hardening of the rubber over time is an indisputable scientific fact. With this amount of age there is not any doubt that these tyres should never go on a vehicle. We acted properly and appropriately in this matter. We are a responsible, reasonably priced firm that gives good service, honest and fair opinion to our customers. We always tell customers when they have mileage left on their vehicles and don't need to buy a new tyre as it is not out of date. We value our reputation more than making an individual sale.

NO GOOD. I bought two sets of brand new tyres there, they agreed to change them over free of charge when the first set wore out, when that time came they agreed to change them over but only if I paid them! When I challenged Karen the boss she stone walled me giving excuses about the age of the second set which have been stored indoors and are in as new condition. I told her that they were prepared to change them if I paid which she denied. Their loss, all our business, family and if I have anything to do with it friends' vehicles will now be going to another local tyre dealer who fitted my tyres and agreed they were in great condition to fit.
