County Court Judgment
Built a retaining wall in front of a raised patio. The rendering started to crack and damp patches appeared. I then found out that they used Thermalite blocks when they quoted and I paid them to use concrete blocks. The Court instructed us to get a Building Surveyor to carry out a Witness Report. He stated ‘there were no weep holes at the base of the retaining wall, lifting the grates off both ends of the aco drains there was no signs of drainage outlets or end caps, the damp staining and blown render can be attributed to the porous nature of the Thermalite blocks. The retaining wall has not been built in accordance with good building practices and I would recommend the wall is demolished and rebuilt’. The Court awarded me over £4000 to get the wall rebuilt. They have not paid the CCJ issued in February. In my personal experience they have shown they are not to be trusted.

Honestly you couldnt find a better landscape gardening company.
I have once again enlisted Fangorn Landscapes to do some further works, this time in my back garden. They have transformed my boring tip of a back garden into my very own paradise. The guys at Fangorn have been nothing but amazing. From when I first met Paul who carried out the quote on my garden; I asked him to design me an eden and he did not disappoint, to when the men completed the work, i did not have one moment of worry. The men that work for Fangorn are always on time and meticulous in their work. You can see they care about the quality of their work and take the time to make sure it's all done correctly. They kept the site very tidy and were always so very polite and kind. I'm sure I will find another excuse to have Fangorn work at my property again! Honestly you couldnt find a better landscape gardening company.
