Photographs are by Winston Feather, a Master Mariner, with 20 years service in the Merchant Navy, although since 1986 he has been mostly occupied running Feathers Picture Framing and Gift Shop/Gallery in Canterbury and helping to bring up his four children. He has a particular passion for Dungeness, making regular bike rides there from home in Canterbury, as it almost feels like being at sea with its big skies and uninterrupted horizons.
