Delighted with Fenester's restoration of our leaded sash windows at affordable prices.

We have used Fenester Sash Windows on a 3 occasions and will do so again as we gradually renovate windows in our Edwardian home. They are experienced craftsmen specialising in sash window replacement and/or restoration at competetive and affordable prices. Fenester have renovated some of our original windows, and replaced others. In some instances they were able to retain original frames whilst replacing the leaded glass with double glazing; in others they were able to retain original glass. We wanted to keep our sash windows but needed them to be easier to open and less draughty. In consultation with Fenester we chose to retain and refurbish original frames, replace sashes where necessary, and replace the glass with thin double glazing. We have had 6 windows treated in this way. The team are conscientious, hardworking craftsmen who consulted us at every stage and took immense pride in restoring our windows to look as new whilst retaining as much of the original as possible. The completed windows look amazing. Restoration was at a more competative rate than replacement; they glide open with finger tip control, and draughts have been eliminated. We are delighted with the outcome and have commissioned more work with Feneter as a result. The team are lovely to deal with - always courteous, helpful, respectful, and leave no mess - they became like part of the family and we are always pleased to welcome them back. Before approaching Fenester we researched and obtained quotations from a number of well known companies. Fenester's prices were considerably more competative, whilst the quality of the work was in no way compromised. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to others wanting to future proof the traditional style of their properties whilst making them practical and functional for modern living.
