One of the best pizzas i have had in a long time! A very chic boutique restaurant with friendly service. One is greeted by roaring fire in their oven with the chef twirling the pizzas in the air. We were reluctant to go in as the place was empty but are we glad that we did go in. Mrs had a simple Margarita and i had a Calzone full of all sorts of meats along with a bottle of wine which were fantastic and great value for money. The choice of wines is bit limited, well one variety of red, white & rose only, but they seem to be carefully selected. I asked the manger why the place was not full considering the quality of food, he told me that majority of their business was delivery and take away. We have had a delivery from them since which was brilliant too. But you can beat devouring a pizza fresh out of the oven. Gem of a place, a local business which must be visited and supported!

NOT Woodfired! One year ago we ordered 2 pizzas from Firebellys and when they turned up they were NOT woodfired - they'd been cooked in an ordinary oven. On top of that, they were tasteless, salty and had a SMEARING of tomato paste and about one teaspoon of cheese as a topping. We complained and the manager was rude and abusive. That was the second time we'd used Firebellys - a year before that we ordered a pizza from them and it was great - you could tell it was cooked in a woodfire oven. So this weekend just gone we were both really hungry, fancied a WOODFIRED pizza, and decided that maybe our last experience with Firebellys was a one-off, and decided to give them another chance. So we ordered two pizzas and when they arrived, they were WORSE than the ones we'd ordered last year! They were NOT woodfired - they had been nowhere NEAR a woodfire oven. They were pale in colour, and had so little topping you needed a magnifying glass to see what was on top. There was just a smear of tomato paste, a tiny sprinkle of cheese - and that was that! Oh, the only thing the chef was generous with was the salt - it tasted so salty it was unbelievable. Besides not being cooked in a woodfired oven, and besides being pale, undercooked, salty, mean on the ingredients, it was tasteless too. I have had far superior frozen pizzas bought from a budget supermarket. I can't believe Firebellys charge over the top for pizzas that are so bad! And NO WAY are they cooked in a woodfire oven! They don't taste woodfired, they don't look woodfired, and they're NOT woodfired. They're worse than a basic cheap frozen pizza that you put in the oven at home that cost 99p.

Placed an order for two pizzas, costing almost £30. After waiting an hour and a half, the pizzas arrived - one was completely the wrong pizza! Order receipt showed details had been taken correctly, so no idea why the wrong pizza was made, cooked & delivered, but too late in the evening to consider letting Firebellys put this right, so I am going to bed hungry!

This is a great little restaurant that serves really good food. The service is very good, staff friendly and the quality great. They also deliver and the portions are great if you are reallly hungry. The take away containers are best yet. Try it soon!
