Who we are

Welcome to the Hatfield South First Class Learning Centre. We support children and adults in the local community with individualised Maths, English and Science tuition.

Students of all ages attend our study centre at Oxlease House in Hatfield. We cater for learners from Early Years and primary through to GCSE and adult students. We offer highly structured programmes that enable students of all abilities to make significant improvements from their current levels of attainment. All our programmes are tailored to the individual and optimised with regular testing.

Our expert tutors are trained to support your child's learning in maths, English, Science or a combination of the subjects in order to help with their school studies, build confidence and develop independent learning skills.

Our English and maths programmes are tailored to learners' individual needs so students move on only when they are confident with a topic. At First Class Learning we believe in 1% steps to 100% success.

How does it work?

The First Class Learning Centre (FCL) Tutor will complete a free assessment which will determine your child's curriculum level and the features of FCL will be explained with any questions answered.

If all parties agree that FCL is right for you, your child can start attending classes and gaining the benefits of FCL study which involves regularly attendance at the centre.

Here they will complete a short piece of work which will be marked, returned and discussed with the Tutor. Your child will be given a detailed programme of homework to be completed before the next class.
