Sand & lacquer wood floor

When I arrived home from work I was surprised to see a young lad (18) working unsupervised sanding my floor so the next day I talked to the boss Gavin to tell him of my concerns and that I was expecting a more experienced tradesman to be on site especially for laying down the lacquer. The next day Gavin was present and informed me they would be laying down the lacquer that day, I pointed out to him that there were still a few loose blocks that needed to be glued down before lacquering.(would he of checked?). On the third day they applied the final coat of lacquer and the finish was very poor the surface is not smooth and there are dust particles under the lacquer which makes me think the floor was not correctly cleaned before applying the lacquer. There are also brush hairs under the lacquer and some build up of the lacquer which has left ridges, no one from Floorcraft has been to check the completed work just took it for granted that it was acceptable, perhaps they would have been more professional if I did not raise my concerns about an apprentice doing the work unsupervised.
