Bouquet of 12 Rainbow Roses - beauty vs price/quality!?!

The rainbow roses I bought (via Living Social) for a special occasion for my Mum, were beautiful but had already started to deteriorate on arrival - the petals were shrivelling and the discoloured leaves drying out. There was no mention on the Living Social website of how long they would last and only after going onto the flowersdelivery4u website did I find information which said that 'the lifespan of Rainbow Roses is shorter compared to the normal roses'. When I contacted the company to complain, they required photographic proof which I could not provide. I recently bought an ordinary bunch of roses from Morrison's for £3 which lasted over 2 weeks! These fared so much better than the rainbow roses bought on a deal at £29. I know which ones I'd choose in future...
