Foresight Safety Ltd offers a one stop health and safety advisory service to small and medium size enterprises in the building and construction industry. From your office to site we can help, train and advise you on safety matters of all kinds, assist you to diplomatically respond to clients' requests and demands, tell you where you stand legally, and advise how to go about answering PQQs and getting accredited with bodies like CHAS. But most importantly, we can help you to make your sites and workplaces safe.

We are in the business of offering solutions. Yes, it's important to find out any problems, but the important thing then is to fix them, and we can draw on the knowledge of a network of specialists to help you do just that.

CDM Services

Foresight Safety Ltd can and has acted as the CDM Co-ordinator for clients on a range of projects. The role of CDMC is vitally important in the preparation phase of a contract, and the Co-ordinator's job is to advise the client on their responsibilities, make a detailed study of the site and collate all the safety information from the professional team. He must then prepare a timely and bespoke pre tender pack, advising the selected contractors of all site safety conditions. Upon receipt of the contractor's Health and Safety plan, he must be capable enough to assess its suitability and advise all parties accordingly.

To do this the CDMC must be fully aware of site conditions and experienced in the way sites and contracts work. Because company personnel regularly attend all kinds of projects and talk at length with those that run and administer them, we are capable of doing just that.

Of course Contractors play a key role in the safe administration of construction sites, and Foresight Safety is well placed to help them too. We can advise on the contents of a Construction Phase Plan as well as your responsibilities and level of authority, and provide well tried ideas on how to set up and resource a contract - all the while watching expenditure.

Accreditations and Pre Qualification Questionnaires

Getting the right accreditation can be crucial to small and medium firms looking to win business, and there are so many: CHAS, SafeContractor, Achilles, Constructionline to name a few. We won't advise which schemes to go for - that's a commercial decision for you to make.

But once you've made the decision, we can assess what you already do, what you need to do and providing a detailed fixed quotation to help you do it.
