Our school is a wonderfully happy, vibrant and successful community. Childhood is celebrated every day and all of our children learn not only to develop skills, both in and outside the classroom, but also to achieve.

Set in both the former Georgian home of world-renowned author Charles Dickens and in our brand new school, which overlooks the countryside, the school enjoys a superb setting for the nurturing of young minds and development and growth of our pupils. Our facilities, challenging academic curriculum and wide range of activities, trips and visits encourage all pupils to develop their talents to the full.

Academically, Gad's enjoys the reputation of receiving excellent GCSE results year on year, with the school being named as the country's top independent school early in 2011 by the BBC, The Times and in the Government's School League Tables, as well as eighth best school overall when including state schools.

We believe our success is largely down to the fact that we are a small school. We aim to restrict our class sizes to 20 children, therefore our pupils benefit by learning in a friendlier more comfortable environment and are taught by teachers who know each child as an individual and can tailor their learning accordingly.
