It's been a while since I went to Godiva Dog Training but I can confidently say it was worth every penny and probably saved the rescue dog that i adopted. In my view, David is firm but fair. He knows his stuff. Sometimes things that are said are not what you want to admit to but it is what needs to change, I.e the discipline of the owner. What you get out of Godiva dog training is equal or more to what you put in. They are a great team who put the dogs first. I felt supported, reassured and educated by the team, and owe i them more than they will ever realise. I have met people who have never been to dog training and they just don't know what they are missing. I highly recommend Godiva.

I would never recommed these training classes to anyone, although David claims to have alot of experiance with dogs he is quick to lose his temper with people and is possibly the most arrogant man I have ever come across. He very rarely takes any of the classes himself and is very easily distracted when he does. He has been seen to have a very agressive side towards some dogs and if your dog has a behavioural problem then definatly stay away from this man.

We took our puppy there for 6 months but left for a few reasons; - the instructors are not qualified, they are unpaid volunteers who have attended his classes and then he asks them to be instructors - so are not chosen because they have experience with dogs or can teach. - after 6 months our puppy had only learn't to sit. lie down and stay - we have a spaniel, and i got the impression that if you had a well behaved calm dog you would progrss quickly, but if you actually needed teaching you wouldn't. - if we missed a session we got bombarded with texts and phone calls to find out where we were, we felt like we couldn't just not turn up without a really good excuse or letting them know - way too much pressure!! They say they are KC registered - David may be but the instructors are not - and David never took a class - go to a place which does KC accredited qualifications.

I attended this 'training' establishment for several weeks, due to the way he treated my dog I left and have never been back. I would never recommend this man or training club to someone who genuinely cares for their animal. There are other knowledgable training clubs in the area which are cheaper, friendlier and more professional, just search on google

I attended his classes for nearly a year. He is actually a very nice man and I enjoyed talking to him and him training my dog, Ollie. I only left because I moved. If I'm back in the area I would not hessitate to go back to the club - he knows what he is doing with alot of experience. Its not 150 i paid 120 and I was going twice a week for about 3/4 months before I had to renew - it works out less than 5 pounds per lesson. he does have a registed company called Canine Solutions U.K.

I too went to his classes and at first thought I was the one at fault - he MUST know what he is doing. However I realised that he does train dogs through dominance and tries to train owners that way too. Having since attended other training schools and been very successful I now know it wasn't me. He is a very rude, arrogant man and I feel sorry for the dogs he owns
