To whom it may concern, Gary Brighton's Tai chi instruction has been an integral part of our day service delivery. This service is an 8 week health promotion course, run as a joint PCT and Social Care scheme, incorporating NSF standard 6 - falls The service is for older people whose independence need to be maintained, and noticeable mobility and balance issues play a key role in their ability to cope at home. Each day starts with a Tai chi session, in which Gary focuses very positively on balance and appropriate movements, and his interaction with the customer group is very successful. he has a clear understanding of older peoples situations and needs, and has pitched all his sessions to a level that they are all able to participate in. feedback from customers has been overwhelming in their appreciation of learning and achieving. Gary came to us highly recommended, and his professional standards have certainly confirmed to us that we are indeed very fortunate to have his services.
