Review for Greenacres Chiropractic Centre
I have suffered with chronic back pain for 20 years. And had resigned myself to living the rest of my life in pain, I was also taking a ridiculously dangerous amount of “off the shelf” pain killers in an attempt to manage the extreme discomfort I had day to day. I found myself in this position after becoming disillusioned with many, many years of being passed back and forth between many and various health care professionals with little to no success other than to be told to take is easy ( at this point I should mention I am only 39 and far from ready to be put out to pasture). After meeting Bridget Bath from Greenacres Chiropractic Centre at a local business networking event, part of which is explaining to each other what we do. I had told Bridget that I was not really interested as I felt I had already ticked the Chiropractic box, from our very first conversation I found Bridget to be the ultimate professional. Bridget could recognise the pain I was in just from looking at the way I was standing and assured me that she could help. If I am being honest I thought in for a penny in for a pound, she seems nice enough might as well have a go. On arriving for my appointment I was meet by a modern comfortable surgery and made to feel at ease and confident from the get go. My initial consultation started with all the normal paper work, name, age etc. And then to my surprise the questions continued, but these questions were about how I feel where did I feel pain, when were things more or less comfortable for me, how this was affecting me. All of this done in a relaxed way that didn’t feel rushed. And then on to a physical examination, which was again done with “me” at the centre no pushing and pulling and dumb questions like did that hurt. As I say I have suffered with this for 20 years, and in all that time have never been examined so thoroughly or with my dignity observed attentively. Throughout the whole experience Bridget told me exactly what she was doing and what was going on and why. On from my first consultation Bridget has continued to help me on my journey to recovery both with her considerable skill and experience in her own surgery and by advising me on to approach other health care professionals to help me get the most appropriate care from them. Bridget obviously has a passion for what she does and this is reflected in the personal care she gives.

This is the first time I have used a Chiropractic and Bridget made me feel at ease, explained the treatment she was about to perform and was very thorough in accessing any previous conditions. The pre-existing lower back stiffness is gone and she has been working on my neck and shoulders more recently. I would not hesitate to recommend her.
