I do not recommend Greenday UPVC Rossendale

I asked for a quote for two windows (one was a bay). The starting price was £2,500 and £1600 was agreed. I was offered a cancellation appointment, two fitters arrived on time and took about three hours to complete the job. The windows seemed to be fine and the fitters were polite. The following day the manager rang me and I paid the balance. He told me he had recently been to a UPVC exhibition in Birmingham and could offer me two more windows at a reduced price - I declined. All was well for a few months until we had some heavy rain then spots of black mould and water marks appeared on both sides of the bay windows, seeming to travel from the bottom of the window and across the wall paper, leaving a water mark stain. The response from the manager was one of contempt, he was rude and dismissive, seeming to have the attitude of - You have a guarantee so what are you worried about - ignoring the fact that water damage is occurring. I was told that the technician will call round when he is in the area. After numerous phone calls I was told this person would would call round the following week and I managed to pin them down to 22nd. They haven't turned up and any attempt to ring them results in my hone being cut off. Needless to say I regret using Greenday UPVC Windows Rossendale and I am thankful I only bought two windows from them. They were ever so nice and polite until I paid the balance then it all changed. I would advise potential customers to be warned by my experience, shop around and go for one of the bigger companies that care about their customers and reputation.
