Welcome
Grinstead Lodge is a beautiful non smoking house approximately 110 - 120 years old. Externally it retains many of its original features and since purchasing the property in 2000 we have vastly internally decorated.
About Us
We have the convenience of being a mile out of the ‘sometimes noisy' town centre for a more comfortable stay. Grinstead Lodge is situated on the main A22 and being only a couple of minutes drive (or a £4 taxi ride) away from the main amenities of the town. We are also within a short walking distance of a public house with a family section and a very nice Chinese restaurant!.
Our Services
We believe in family values and do our utmost to make our Guests feel at home and welcomed, you only have to view the comments and thank you cards of our previous guests to see how happy they have been with us.

Really pleased, for the price I bet you can't find better!
OK so if you want hotel quality go to a hotel, this is a bed and breakfast and you won't do better for the price than here. Fab breakfast, warm, clean comfortable rooms, loads of tea and coffee left in room. Comfy welcoming stay thank you

Wish they were all as good as this!
Arrived to be greated by a lady with a lovely smiley face and a load of fish too - they have a huge fish tank in reception area! Plenty of storage space in my room and very clean en-suite facilities. Fab to see they also have fruit teas in the room as well as the normal Enlish breakfast type. The bed was very snuggly and I seriously did not want to get out of it until the smell of breakfast coming from downstairs wafted up to the room and I had to 'follow my nose'! Left the breakfast room with a very satisfied tummy, really set me up for the day. Would certainly visit this place again and would recommend to any of you.

Really pleasing stay!
Had a really lovely stay at Grinstead Lodge, stayed on business and breakfast times were perfect for what I needed, lovely big English breakfast with real coffee (no instant rubbish). Very clean room, crisp white sheets (just love this!) and plenty of tea and coffee in the room. My room had a super shower (unlike some B&B's I've been booked into with work), loved the fact they sell toiletries in Reception because I forgot my shaving stuff! Definately go back to this one on my next trip down.
