Having mucked about (badly) with guitars over the years my son started having lessons in his home town and kept on at me to have lessons too. I couldn't see the point at 63 because I am never going to be the next Clapton but in the end he looked up Matt and booked me a lesson for my birthday. I was probably fairly apprehensive about the whole idea but Matt takes a very gradual approach to ease you into it and I don't worry about making a fool of myself any more. He is gradually getting me out of lots of bad habits and showing me shortcuts and techniques that you just can’t get from online sites. I have no hesitation in recommending him, especially if you can’t quite take the plunge and need a bit of encouragement. It’s nothing like as daunting as you may think and it makes you want to improve every week so gives an objective to aim for
