Restaurant - Nepalese in Newbury (Berkshire)
26 The Broadway
Newbury
Berkshire
RG14 1AU
Four of us went here on a whim - we wanted curry and it was the closest! We had a really good meal. Good food, served hot, friendly and efficient service. It was a relaxed atmosphere, clean and well presented. The menus start with an introduction to Napal and its food which was cool. The menu also includes helpful tips on the Nepalese food.Cobra beer on tap, poppadoms as an intro, alright selection of starters, really wide variety of main courses at different spice levels written clearly in the description of each dish, and plenty of side dish options. It was much like an Indian restaurant sort of format. We had a great meal - I would go again - plenty of different things to try - if you like going out for a curry and fancy a change from an Indian curry, then I'd recommend The Gurkha Chef for a Nepalese.
