Originally a flame cutting business, Harbex has grown and developed to become a competitive multi process steel profiling company. The business’ capabilities were broadened in November 1997 when Sussex firm Profiling and Grinding was acquired, boosting the mechanical facilities of Harbex to include plough grinding, drilling, folding and shearing. Harbex’ Essex based sister company, 'The Laser Edge' was established in July 2003 when Harbex brought the laser cutting side of The Cutting Edge. Already possessing much experience and a wealth of innovative technology, The Laser Edge has proved a valuable asset to Harbex and the partnership has developed to offer customers an award winning service at competitive bespoke prices.
