Why is this lady being accused of beating dogs? If it was true thenTracey should contact the authorities (RSPCA etc) not libel someone on a website. I dont think it is true at all. My mum uses this groomer and her poodle is always happy to go. My mum is happy with the parlour too. When I take my mums dog to be groomed it is always excited to go and kisses Gill and jumps up for a cuddle. I cant believe what Tracey says is true. When I told my mum what I have read on this site she was really upset for Gill and asked me to post this for her. Ant.

I have used Highclare Clippers several times and my dogs love going there. I take that as their vote. Trust me if they didnt like going I wouldnt be able to get them out of the car and down the path LOL. I have also used the hydrotherapy pool. It is lovely and clean and the dogs are gently introduced to the idea of swimming in the pool. Mine LOVE it. When they go for a haircut they are always beautifully groomed and very happy when I collect them. Gill herself has lovely friendly dogs who are a credit to her. I am surprised this website is allowed to print such rubbish. Surely it is illegal to print such libelous allegations? It is not fair . I find it hard to believe that Traceys dog had its 'willie' shaved. Never happened to my dogs! And if it is true that her dog has an infected willie, where is the proof that this was caused by Gill? I think it is very unfair to post such serious allegations in a public forum and to try to ruin someones business. If I had a complaint then I would have spoken to Gill rather than post libelous comments on a public forum. It sounds very far fetched to me. And really unfair on such a good, caring dog groomer.

I have never heard such nonsense. Surely if this was true Tracey would take her dog back to Highclare to complain in person, not via the internet. I have been going to Highclare's for nearly 4 years not just for grooming but for swimming hydro therapy, and if it weren't for Gill's enthusiasm, trust and caring, my dog wouldn't be able to walk - she has given him life again. I would trust her implicitly and I do trust her implicitly with my dog (my baby). I am sure this lady must be talking about another grooming parlour. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere other than Gills, and I RECOMMEND HIGHCLARE TO EVERYONE I come across with dogs. THEY ARE BRILLIANT

Good job always.
i have always used Gill, never had any problems. I think Tracey is wrong, but funny. lol.... Wouldnt use any other dog groomer in MALDON, or in fact the CM postcode.

I am the owner of the above Grooming palour, I take what I do very seriously. I have been grooming for 30 years I have a huge clientele. My clients are my friends. As far as beating the dogs is concerned that is utter rubbish, what would be the point of that I am in the animal caring buisness. I have many dogs of my own and love them to bits. I look after my clients dogs for them if they have to go away for a day in an emergance for free. Do you think people would leave there dogs with me if they thought I would beat them Ha Ha. The women that wrote such slanderous lies should be a shamed of her self. If I did anything to her dog that she was not happy with she should have had the guts to come back and I would have paid for any vets bill as long as the vet could provied me with the evedence that I had done anything to her dog as to have hurt it in any way. Maybe the comments were from someone who was put up to it by another groomer!!!
